My Partner brought an item from Home Bargains in Branksome Poole, When she opened the package at home and tried to use it , it was faulty , so the next day she took it back. The lady at the shop said there will be no refund on that item. So she asked to speak with the manager, and when he arrived he also said it will not be refunded or exchanged . The manager then said it was discounted because it was faulty. ( There was nothing written in the package to say it was faulty ) And why would you buy a faulty item anyway. I’m sure the policy in which the manager states is wrong so we will be speaking to citizens advice and contacted the trading standards with this issue. I feel she was treated badly with this issue and I wouldn’t want anyone else to receive this treatment.
