I placed an online order, to have someone else’s order delivered to me. It’s virtually impossible to contact home bargains to resolve an issue, the only option is to email them! So I did, 6 days later I get a reply from a customer service agent, their solution was to arrange a collection of the parcel and then process a refund, once the parcel was received. I agreed and selected the earliest of the days given to me (the next day), only for the agent to respond to me the following day stating that it wasn’t possible to arrange that collection date and asked me to choose another day. I responded expressing that the situation was frustrating and it’s unfair to expect me to have the time and ability to sit around waiting for emails and couriers, based on an error on the companies part. It’s now been 4 days since I last heard from the advisor that was “helping” me, I’m 2 weeks in to being stuck with a parcel I have no use for and out of pocket for the order that I paid for. If you want half decent service, I highly recommend avoiding ordering from home bargains online!
