I started about 3 months ago with a weekly delivery of 4 meals for 2 people. They have so far all arrived as expected. My husband loves these meals. All very tasty and innovative. I was bored with my usual dishes and I don't feel inventive enough to come up with new dishes each week. What I love about Home Chef is that I am still cooking fresh food, but it comes with just the right portions of each ingredient. My husband and I are small eaters and one meal always provides leftovers for lunch the next day. I am not forced to buy large amounts of ingredients that will just go to waste. Pricing is typically $20-25 per meal. I could possibly make them myself for less but sometimes it would be more if I have to buy a lot of ingredients. Like a whole container of crème fraiche when the recipe only needs 2 tablespoons. So far I am very happy. I was traveling for 3 weeks and was able to skip those weeks without issue. I have not tried any other services like this to compare but for now I'll probably continue with home Chef.
