My siblings and I are managing our mother's estate, and while other institutions provided respectful processes, this insurer trapped us in a frustrating loop. Their inadequate procedures required us to use a closed bank account, leading to a dead end. Instead of resolving their error, they ignored it, showing a lack of empathy. It felt more like a strategy to delay rightful funds rather than an oversight. We have filed a formal complaint and I am sharing this experience to caution others. Navigating this while grieving adds unnecessary stress. They do not deserve your business.
