I switched to a new provider in September 2025. My bill for September to October was normal, but the charge for October to November was unexpectedly high. In November to December, my gas bill soared to £160. After investigating, I discovered they were overcharging me based on incorrect meter readings. My meter measures in cubic meters, unlike how they charged me in cubic feet, leading to inflated bills. I believe I am owed refunds for these overcharges. They should have recognized my meter type when I switched, which feels quite unfair, especially as a disabled customer. Others have reported similar issues as well.
