I booked accommodation for a forthcoming trip to France. The host emailed me months in advance telling me that the accommodation will be put on the market and that I needed to book with someone else. They cancelled the booking through booking.com that we had made. I noticed that the remaining money owed had been taken from my account from Homerez. On further investigation the original deposit had not been refunded. I spoke to homerez and they finally refunded me the deposit and remain money less £5. Yes it’s on a fiver but why should I be out of pocket considering the host cancelled and they took the money when they should’ve?!?I definitely won’t be using this company again.
