over the years I've moved 3 times using homeswapper. It's a clunky, old fashioned website but it works, until it doesn't. I haven't received any emails for over a month. I used to get a daily update email. The biggest problem is other users. Some people dont want to move, are lonely and think its a way to meet new friends, can't or don't read the details of your property, lie about theirs, just want to look at other people's homes, try to pressure you into swapping even if you said NO to them multiple times. The search feature on the app is very frustrating, you have to keep entering the features of the property you are looking for each time you perform a search. There doesn't seem to be any customer service to actually speak to about problems using the website or app.ive been emailing for a month and not getting anywhere. NEEDS IMPROVEMENT TO WEED OUT TIMEWASTERS.
