Apparently you cannot put 0 star.I knew there were landlord scamming people out of their deposit in Poland so I took an agency and ended up with Homfi. Big mistake. They help landlord scam renters out of their deposit. It was really annoying as when I took the flat I had to deep clean the sofa and mattress. When I left my flat an agent came to do a visit to inspect. Did a video, sniff the curtains (yep landlord wanted to make sure I washed the curtains, luckily I took pictures of me taking the curtains down), and confirmed the flat was in good state. I also took a video when I left. 18 days later as I was enquiring about my deposit the landlord told me she had to call in a professional cleaning at the last minute for 400 zlotys but would only charge me 200! First a cleaning of a 1 bed flat is not that expensive in Wrocław, second she never provided an invoice and the new tenant were not moving before another week after I left. It seems that it’s a recurring scam with foreigners so they take their money out. I had included Homfi in all my emails but the agent didn’t even care to reply. I’ve seen another post here stating a similar story. They do this to change furniture…Avoid!
