It's a poor reflection on the UK mobile companies (and their poor regulation) that the coverage in the UK is so patchy, even 50 miles from London, that you need a product such as SmartSIM, but it's a effective and cheap solution to an annoying problem. I wish I'd tried it sooner - suddently the "not spots" have almost all gone. Areas where on a single network you might have had no usable coverage for 5 minutes driving now have coverage for WhatsApp etc. Very simple to set up and "just works". I'm a convert.....
