I had the misfortune of having to deal with this incompetent company due to an insurance claim- the insurance company used them to inspect the damage (RSA Motability as their driver bumped into my parked car but did the decent thing and left their details)A one week wait to arrange a visit with no time of day given- just have to leave whole day clear and wait for call when so called "engineer" is on their way. Having already had a bodyshop inspection and sent photos to insurance, all they do is come and take more photos of your car.Mike came and did the inspection on 27th Jan. You have my sympathy if he does your inspection as you'll probably never get a result back again. It's currently 3 weeks later and his report (for a simple cracked rear bumper) still hasn't been sent to the insurance so the entire repair process is on hold. I've phoned the insurance to follow up every couple of days - been told no report from Hoopers - so each time I've been transferred to the Hoopers phone line to enquire. The best they've been able to offer is "a message has been sent to the engineer as a reminder". Initially having waited 7 days for the report, I was eventually put through to Mike one afternoon who said he'd made his decision and would send it through that night. Not a man of his word as 14 days later still nothing, despite may follow-up calls to with Hoopers. Mike is out making many more inspections daily as he's always "out on the road" according to the office, whilst leaving the follow-up to these visits incomplete. I ask - what's the point of doing all those inspections if you never send through the result
