We had an engineer visit us this morning to check our fridge freezer. We paid for a one of repair and did not choose a care plan. The engineer came out looked at the fridge, used a temperature gauge and then called a colleague who said the fault could be one of 2 things. The engineer then left, called a few minutes late and said the fridge was unrepairable. There was no real diagnostic or checks done on any components. He just visually looked at it.
I later looked at a you tube video that advised to check if there was a blockage preventing proper drainage. I looked and it was blocked. I cleared the blockage which took a few seconds and then. The fridge started to work.
I dont know if your team are running some kind of scam to force people to buy care plans or if you have incompetent engineers. But this is unacceptable.
