Totally disappointed with behaviour of assigned para legal assigned to my personal injury case. Had to contact him myself for updates no notification of changes to where he was based and who was supposedly supervising him . Just accepting information from defendants, not following up on getting evidence 18 months completely wasted . 1 year left to get into court closed the file and just says no point carrying on . Disgusted.

Honestly where do I start with this company.i wouldn't even bother they are useless,totally unprofessional and make sick twisted comments when they pushed me to the brink.i have saved a recording of one the staff saying something so bad it in the hands of the solicitor regulator authority and the ombudsman
Filled in the Request Callback form expecting a phone call reasonably quickly, given Hopkins’ website promise of passing my details ‘immediately’ for action to the right team. Four days later, I’m still waiting and am unhappy to experience how new customers are treated so will take my business elsewhere.
The worst legal experience I’ve ever had.The lawyers made serious mistakes with my documents, which caused unnecessary delays of several months in my case. Throughout the process, the lawyers kept changing almost weekly. No one informed me when one lawyer stopped handling my case and another took over — it went from one to another, and then a third. Total chaos, lack of communication, and no professionalism.I’ve asked multiple times for clear details regarding the invoice and payments, and to this day, I haven’t received a proper explanation.Out of respect, I won’t name names — but I will never use their services again and I absolutely would not recommend them to anyone.
Hopkins Solicitors' formal complaint regarding the poor service I received from your firm, specifically concerning my urgent request for legal assistance with a high court writ issued by a bailiff. On Thursday, March 20th, I contacted your firm seeking urgent legal advice and representation to prevent bailiff action at my property. I spoke with Lewis Chapman in a previous phone call and provided all the necessary legal documentation explaining the urgency of the matter. I had a deadline to prevent the bailiff from attending to my property. I was initially told that the solicitor would get back to me. However, despite multiple follow-up calls and messages left on March 21st, I did not receive any substantive response until approximately 5:30 PM on March 21st. The message I received at that time merely provided a fee estimate of £500 plus for a case review, without indicating whether the solicitor would take on my case. This lack of timely communication and failure to provide urgent assistance caused me significant distress and anxiety. The delay in response meant that I was unable to take timely action to address the matter, potentially resulting in further complications. I find the service I received to be wholly unacceptable. My situation required urgent attention, and the failure of your firm to provide a prompt response demonstrates a lack of professionalism and a disregard for the urgency of my legal matter. I wasted an entire day waiting for a response that was not forthcoming. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by your firm. I believe this constitutes a serious failure to provide an adequate level of client care.
My partner felt very intimidated and patronised with the initial contact. This continued with further dealings with the company. Abrupt, abrasive and very unhelpful as well as being very unhelpful regarding how much services actually cost in the end from the initial appointment. Would not recommend them in any way.
Laura Barker has been excellent throughout the dealings of our boundary dispute, making a stressful situation much less so. She has been excellent also in regard to her communication with us and the way in which she dealt with the neighbour's solicitor. I thoroughly recommend her and her company.
'It may be me'..but I feel I was sold-out, I went in for impartial advice, and being happy to walk away if there was no case. The consultation was very relaxing and I felt impressed with the advice- as I was offered more confidence in Hopkins acting for me than I expected. Being quoted a figure for the services I was happy to have been offered- we entered into an agreement and action. Sadly- straight away the lovely lady I first saw was too busy to manage my case- so it was handled by someone I never met, who I struggled with clear communication with. Who all too often was unable to follow my direction or instruction, so I subsequently ended up with no result whatsoever, despite the original advice offering what finally felt like a 'hard sell' and Incredibly) a cost over three times the original quote- without the courtesy of making me aware... so never again!Expensive and painful- then being hassled for payment after them forgetting to advise me- nice!
