Update to Hopper reply:I called the number they gave, told them about the reply (and sent screenshots). The customer service representative looked into it and told me that the reply to this review was automated (not a real person), and he checked and there actually was nothing that could be done about the situation. Good to know that Hopper has AI replying to their bad reviews on this website, providing false promises to try and remedy the situation.Original Review:Lost money through Hopper. Technically, they are operating according to their policies, but their policies are very "fine print" and SUCK. Their $50+ "cancel for any reason" coverage expires after a week or two, no matter what the situation is (for me, an airline switched one of my return flights, which didn't work with my schedule). Not only did they NOT refund a flight I can't make, but they also kept that "cancel for any reason" fee, even though it didn't do anything for me. Never booking through them again. It's way easier and less financial loss to just book through the airline directly.
