Advice about Horizon parking, Brighton Travelodge

A word of warning if you are thinking of using the car parking at the Travelodge, Preston Road, Brighton. The car park is run by Horizon Parking and they have charged me for breaching their rules because I, having already paid £17.00 for 48 hours of parking, took my car out for a couple of hours during my stay ( to go to a funeral) and brought it back again within the 48 hours. This is, apparently, not allowed. So far they have taken another £51 off of me and are now asking for another £25 which I will pay and hopefully put and end to the issue. Like most people using a car park, I do not get a solicitor to read all the small print for me before I park, also, if staying in a hotel for a while, I would expect to be allowed to come and go from the hotel car park, in my car, during my stay, this has certainly been my experience at other hotels. I will not stay at this hotel again (the hotel itself was OK) and will take steps to avoid using any car parks run by Horizon in future.
