I have had a HDD-based VPS for about 8 years so far.I have had no issues so far, except a few days ago when it was announced that they would close outgoing TCP port 25.It's a little disappointing when trying to maintain a healthy decentralized internet by running own mail server. It only applies to outgoing, but this shows you should be aware of this.Apparently they will open port 25 if requested. So just be very aware if that is really going to be an option and not just to big customers. If yes, then it could be regarded as a positive thing that they close as default. Except what if that principle applied to all ports (SMTP is obviously not the only protocol)?
