We were driving cross country after a canceled flight. We used hotel tonight to book a hotel in the middle of Pennsylvania along our route. The whole reason I had the app on my phone - for last minute hotel needs. We get to the hotel check-in desk, confirmation in-hand, at 11:30PM. The lovely concierge said they had been trying to reach HotelTonight because they were out of rooms and couldn't honor our reservation. We had booked the hotel many hours prior and heard NOTHING from HotelTonight. We ended up at a crappy place across the way, no thanks to hoteltonight. After many hours on hold/on the phone with customer service we supposedly got a refund (still waiting on that) but they did very little to try to redeem themselves. 25$ off another stay? Never will I be using them again. Zero confidence.
