AVOID this platform. My attempt to book a room for my elderly parents for my father's birthday turned into a complete disaster and a total waste of funds. I strongly advise everyone to be cautious of this unreliable service. Inadequate Customer Support
The major issue started with the outdated booking process. There was no option to include a guest's name on the reservation, which is essential for third-party bookings, especially when arranging travel for others. I secured the room, but my elderly father, the intended guest and birthday celebrant, was denied check-in due to his name not being on the reservation. This situation escalated into a chaotic nightmare when I reached out to the customer support team: * Denied Check-In: The hotel could not allow my father to check in because of their strict policy, which the platform failed to manage or communicate. * No Resolution Offered: The service provided NO options for resolution. They were unable to call the hotel to verify my identity, add my father's name, or make any simple arrangements to honor the booking. * Refusal to Refund: Despite their total inability to deliver the service I paid for, they refused to refund the room. It felt like they took my money without providing anything in return.
A Disturbing Business Practice
This is not just a case of poor customer service; it’s a predatory business practice. To book a room for a family member, have the check-in fail due to the platform's own deficiencies, and then refuse a refund is utterly unacceptable.
This service is a total scam. They take your money with a non-refundable policy and then create obstacles that prevent the service from being used, leaving you stranded and financially impacted. Terrible service. A complete waste of money. I will certainly NEVER use this platform again. Do yourself a favor and book directly with a reputable hotel or choose a service that actually allows you to confirm your guests' names. This special occasion was ruined and was extremely frustrating, especially when trying to do something nice for my parents.
