Freezer purchased Jan 25, and broke in October 25. Engineer visit 24th Oct, needed to order part. Weekly texts saying "part still unavailable" for 4 weeks. Called hotpoint, Automated responses tell you to call back later and hang up on you. Tried live chat, disconnects without getting through to an advisor. Eventually called my retailer, who managed to connect me to a hotpoint agent after 1 hour on hold. I was told that the part was provisionally available on the 4th Dec 25. I said this was unacceptable and asked to make a complaint, the call operator said she lodged the complaint but no confirmation would be sent to me! I am now awaiting a call back within the next 2-5 working days to see if I am allowed to return my faulty freezer.Appalling customer service in respect to connection and resolution.
