I have been buying womens Hotter shoes for my wife for many years. She always buy an extra wide fit with velcro strap fastening. However, recently Hotter have reduced the strap length from 6" to 5". This means that she cannot rely on the strap to stay fastened as it barely reaches across.She has complained to both the Hotter outlet and factory but can never get a satisfactory explanation as to why they have decided to shorten the strap on an extra wide fitting shoe . It defeats the purpose of having a wide fitting and seems illogical to me. If it's just to save them money then they are ultimately losing out as she will not be buying.
