Frustration with marketing emails

I am very frustrated that despite clicking unsubscribe several times from their overwhelming marketing emails, I continue to receive messages I never opted into. I even called to request removal, yet I still get daily emails. This is completely unacceptable and seems to violate data protection regulations.

Deeply disappointed with the constant emails

I am deeply disappointed that despite clicking unsubscribe multiple times from their numerous marketing emails, I continue to receive messages that I never agreed to. I even called to request my unsubscription, but I am still inundated with daily emails. This is utterly unacceptable and appears to breach data protection laws.

Mixed experience with shoe purchase

I purchased a pair of shoes to wear indoors due to Achilles Tendonitis in both ankles, bought in September 2025. I only use them inside, and since they worked well, I ordered another pair in a different color, both on sale and the same design. However, one of the pull-ons on the first pair slipped out, so I returned them. I was offered a new pair, which I found surprising since I just needed the pull-on reattached. After visiting the recommended shoe repairer, I returned to the store with the repair receipt. This led to confusion as the sales assistant doubted if the cost could be reimbursed, even mentioning, “well, I did offer you a new pair!” There were several oddities: 1. The assistant claimed I had worn them outside, which I hadn't, but the pull-on was still broken. 2. I preferred my worn-in shoes that helped my ankle issue. 3. It seems wasteful to offer a new pair instead of fixing a relatively new and usable pair. 4. As a small and delicate female, I struggle with pulling shoes on, so this pull-on was bound to fail eventually. Has anyone else faced negative reactions when a shoe from this brand fails?

Great winter boots

I ordered some lovely wide-fitting boots online, which arrived within a couple of days. I also bought a brush to keep them clean. They are incredibly comfortable, and I would definitely purchase shoes, boots, and sandals from this site whenever there’s a sale.

Stores in poor condition

I visited both the Kingston Upon Thames and Eastbourne stores, and the chairs customers sit on to try shoes are in a terrible state! Both locations are the same, with gorilla tape on them and peeling fake leather, creating a health hazard. When I inquired about the shabby chic look, the staff mentioned they had been waiting for new chairs for months. I took photos to document this. Given the price of the products, I believe improvements are necessary. However, the staff were lovely.

Concerns about data protection

I have not engaged with this company for over a year and did not consent to receive any mailings. Everything was fine until early November 2025 when I started getting marketing emails. On November 17, I requested the company to remove my personal data, and they assured me my account was closed by November 27. Yet, I still receive daily emails despite my efforts to stop them. The most recent one arrived on December 23, 2025. I informed the company that I would not 'unsubscribe' to unsolicited emails, fearing a potential hack. I see from other reviews that I'm not alone in this issue. I reported the company to the relevant authority, as over 30 days have passed since my request. I do NOT recommend this company due to their apparent disregard for customer data and relevant laws. UPDATE (January 7, 2026): I was assured by customer service on December 23 that unsubscribing was safe, yet I still received more marketing emails. I unsubscribed again, blocked the email, and deleted it. Disgraceful.

Quality has declined significantly

This used to be a great company with quality shoes. I have purchased in-store and online for years, but now the quality is cheap, and the refund process takes over a month. Very disappointing.

I have been a customer for the past decade, but my latest pair has been a disaster. They are no longer wide-fitting, the leather tops won't polish (despite my experience in shoe care), and they leaked from day one.

Concerns about personal information use

It’s concerning how this company handles personal information. After buying a pair of shoes earlier this year, I began receiving numerous calls, emails, and mailings from various companies linked to them. Despite my attempts to unsubscribe, I cannot seem to remove myself from these lists. While the shoes were great, I regret the purchase and will not buy from them again.
