Very disappointing experience with Hotwire. They heavily promote themselves as a last-minute deal service, but the reality was misleading and frustrating.We specifically selected city center as our location preference, yet Hotwire issued us a hotel 8.5 km away from the city center. That is not “city center” by any reasonable definition — it completely defeats the purpose of booking accommodation for convenience and accessibility.If location filters are ignored, then the service becomes unreliable and borderline deceptive. A cheap price means nothing when you’re stuck far outside the city with added transport costs and wasted time.This experience seriously undermines trust in Hotwire’s platform. If location matters to you, think twice before booking.
