Mums rent was supposed to have been reduced on 13 May.You in formed Housing Benefit who reduced her benefit.Low and behold full rent was taken out.Several emails and telephone calls over a five week period and I am now being told she now has to fill in a refund form, bearing in mind it was Housing 21 error and I’m now being told it could now take another 7-10 days.Sorry no 6 weeks is totally unacceptable.Witholding money from elderly residents is shocking.Customer service is very poor.A complaint will be going in.
