I love the apartment and so happy to be finally here after many stressful months. It has been tastefully decorated throughout with high quality fittings in all the communal area and prints on the corridors are particularly pleasant. everything in the apartment has been thought out very well with a locked cupboard for important document medicines etc. Plenty of plugs and safety procedures in place. The box you left with lots of useful contents was a nice touch and thsnk you very much for that. However one or two items need thinking about in future like the taps in the sink appear to be designed for left handed people, there is no sink trap to stop objects from going into the drains,(which I have bought) same with the shower room you cannot lift the plug out to clean it. There are many very stressful episodes leading up to my finally moving in :1 I was given the name of Sam to contact but only found out later that when she was away no-one picked up her messages till I made a fuss and was transferred to someone else.2 No-one responded to calls most of the time after 3pm Friday and lunch times and there were two days when everyone was sent on training days so no one available3 I frequently asked the question why number 40 was such difference in price to the other apartments 40 was £131 000 and the others for sale at the time £175-180 000 and was told that an independent surveyor told Housing 21 the amount. Then a week before Christmas I was told that the property was undervalued and also Probate was still outstanding and not likely to be granted till March. As I had sold my house this left me in a very difficult position. Luckily I had a partner with his own house who I could live with which turns out to be from the 19th of January till the 19th of April. This led to a lot of re-organisation for both of us and a lot of cancelled utilities etc as well as the expense of storage.I was able to meet the extra cost because of the sale of my house. But if I had known this previously I would not have been in so much rush to sell my house and would have hung on to the price nearer the valuation which I sold at lower than that for a quick sale.So a lot of stress was caused to me and my family and they especially were worried thinking of my age at 84 and increasing challenges of Parkinson's which is one of the reason's that I wanted to move in here.I hope this may instigate some thought in the way your office works as when my children come to sell this I would not like to think that they would have the same problems.
