Purchased hoverboard from a reputable national retailer - Best Buy - as a Christmas gift. After using indoors only for a couple weeks, it died completely and will not charge. The return period for Best Buy had passed (since it had been a Christmas gift), but it was under warranty from Hover-1. The phone number for customer support is just a recorded message telling you to submit a ticket online. I have done so and have not received anything other than a canned response. It has been weeks, still nothing. So in short, there’s an alleged “warranty” that is meaningless because Hover-1 doesn’t respond. Literally nothing you can do. This is illegal here in the U.S. Very unfortunate experience.
