Sent me a dead hover board that wont charge. Took 6 weeks to send. Brain dead customer support. Keeps asking for a video of the board not charging????? We garded. Wont exchange. Rude customer service when they reply. Do not buy from them. I reversed charged the product.

Bought this Hover-1 as a Christmas gift and it’s been nothing but trouble. The first unit locked up on one side, completely stopped working, and then refused to turn off while giving off a worrying burning smell. Exchanged it thinking it was a one‑off fault, but the replacement did exactly the same thing within 15 minutes of use. For a product that’s supposed to be fun and safe, this is incredibly disappointing and honestly quite dangerous. I can’t recommend it to anyone.
AWFUL PRODUCT AND NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT: Bought this as a Christmas gift and it broke within 24 hours. One side locked up and the board would not turn off, it continued to power one side, leading to a severe burning smell and eventually turned off due to battery burning out. Now the board doesn't power up or charge. I've contacted customer support and raised a ticket under the warranty but I've not received a response and its been over 20 days. Awful product and would not recommend.
I ordered a hover-1 hoverboard directly from the manufacturer. It said it would be here in 7-10 days and it took 30 days. When I received it I plugged it in to charge it. When it was fully charged it wouldn't turn on unless plugged in. I asked for a refund and they said if the box was opened it wasn't eligible for a return. The battery is bad. I spent $100 and they took the money immediately. This is a bad company and nobody should purchase anything from them. They are sketchy.
This company is a scam! It’s been 2 weeks and they still haven’t shipped the item I ordered. I called to get a refund because I could order the same charger off of Amazon and have it in 2 days. The prick boy in customer service said he couldn’t cancel my order because it’s been over ten days and wouldn’t refund me. Yea it’s been over ten days but you still haven’t mailed my charger. I advise stay as far away from these scumbags as possible.
Found these reviews by accident when trying to contact Hover-1 customer support. They replied quite quickly the first time and asked for our address to send out a replacement unit for my daughter, said we'd have a replacement Hoverboard within a week or 2 but I've not heard anything from them since. The Hoverboard was only just over a month old and was a present for my daughter. Utterly disappointing, avoid buying their products if you can, can't imagine it will be long until retailers start withdrawing Hover-1 from their shops.**Update, it's been over 2 months and still no replacement unit - Will be contacting trading standards imminently.
