My job move came at the last minute, and I was still finishing packing when Aspire Moving arrived. I expected frustration, but that didn't happen. Aspire Moving taped the last few boxes and kept going.
I had 53 packed boxes in my living room when they arrived. The team from Aspire Moving didn't take long to figure things out. all my things were offloaded to their exact place at my new place by Aspire Moving. the process felt simple, and I didn't run into issues later.
The movers sent from Aspire Moving listened to feedback and developed a plan that worked. The movers performed a great job right from the beginning. I am impressed by the total output of the team.
I'd been worried about finding someone who could handled delicate display items from a gallery setup. Aspire Moving didn't overtalk the job and just came prepared. The whole vibe was calm. Aspire Moving finished the move without turning it into a bigger deal.
DO NOT use Aspire Moving under any circumstances. They lie, cheat, and scam people. They claim to be professional movers with uniforms and background checks — but that’s a total lie. They are just brokers who farm your move out to random third parties.
The movers they sent were careless and damaged my walls, broke my bike, lamp, ruined my dresser, and pretty much broke most of my chine because they toss your boxes and furniture around with no regard — and then take zero responsibility. Too boot, I was up-charged twice for services I already paid for. No one answers the phone, no one calls back, and no one takes ownership. A total bait and switch operation.
I honestly don’t know how this company sleeps at night, lying to people and taking their money. This was the most stressful, dishonest, and infuriating moving experience of my life.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE. They are dishonest. They provided a very attractive quote over the phone and pressured me into making a deposit to secure the booking. However, when their team arrived, they increased the price by more than three times (I had slightly more items but not nearly 50% more). I felt I had no option but to pay since they already had my deposit and I was left without any moving alternatives. Additionally, they somehow misplaced my jacket. This service is filled with dishonest practices, and I plan to take legal action in small claims court.
I usually don’t write reviews, but my experience with the service was so negative that I feel it's important to share a warning. I arranged my move with the company in New Jersey, unaware that they would outsource the entire job to another provider. When the movers arrived, they immediately informed me that the price would be higher, even before assessing what needed to be moved. Their reasoning was that I had a king-size bed and a large sofa, despite having listed those items on the paperwork during booking. The mover attempted to justify the price increase by labeling it a “large king-size bed,” which is nonsensical. A king-size bed is just that, and a four-seater sofa remains a four-seater sofa. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic: quote one price initially, then raise it upon arrival. From that moment, everything deteriorated.
The final bill ended up being over three times the initial estimate. While they didn’t guarantee a specific delivery date, my belongings took nearly three weeks to reach New York — completely unacceptable for a domestic move. When they finally arrived, I was hit with an unexpected charge: a $500 “shuttle fee” to transport my items from New Jersey to Brooklyn. This fee was never disclosed in advance. The costs kept escalating from the start to the end of the journey. Upon arrival, the condition of my belongings was appalling. Several items were damaged, including my TV, mirror, and vacuum, and some boxes were missing entirely. I have photographic evidence of the damage. It was evident that my items were not handled with any care. Communication throughout the entire process was abysmal. Neither the company nor the subcontractor accepted responsibility for any issues. Every update was filled with excuses, delays, or blame-shifting. The whole experience was stressful, misleading, and felt like a complete exploitation from start to finish. I strongly advise against using this service — spare yourself the hassle, the unexpected charges, and the damage to your possessions.
I contacted the company just to request a moving quote, and the encounter quickly turned into one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had with any service. After deciding not to move forward with their offer, the representative I was in touch with began sending me a series of rude, insulting, and entirely inappropriate text messages from a personal number. His tone shifted from unprofessional to openly hostile, including name-calling and taunting phrases like “I’m waiting silly girl” after I ceased my responses. I have screenshots of every message, and this behavior is far beyond what is acceptable for a legitimate business. No customer should ever face harassment simply for declining a quote. This interaction reveals: Complete lack of professionalism No customer service skills Disregard for boundaries A troubling lack of emotional control from the representative If this is their response to a simple inquiry, I can't imagine trusting them with my belongings or personal information. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and other consumer protection platforms to make sure others are aware of this experience. I strongly advise anyone considering this company to proceed with caution and keep all communication documented.
Talked with Cody from the quality assurance team to verify the inventory and I had more stuff but was not going to take all of my stuff. But instead he added additional items on top of the items I am not going to take with me and gave me a new estimate that was almost double the initial estimate. I asked to remove the items that I won’t take but he insisted to take them iff the list and added bigger boxes instead of small boxes which requires larger cu.ft. He made sure that it could be adjusted by the movers when they come to see the items physically. But after talking with the CSR regarding the move date, it is a locked price and cannot be adjusted. I feel like I was abused that they took advantage over me as this was my first interstate move. It seems like they don’t communicate with each other on what the previous person told me to assure me things will work out great until I pay for the deposit. Then when it goes to the next person, things that we discussed disappear.I tried to reach out to previous people to make sure if our conversation was still valid because the information I got later was totally different, but neither the sales rep nor quality assurance team answers the phone and let me felt left out while they even said they will do their best to help me with my move. Also realized that when the sales rep reached out with the good review (4.7) from trustpilot that is no longer existing. Very misleading.
