Courtesy of Amazon U K, I have bought a new Printer to replace my former one, which had become time expired. The Printer, an HP Deskjet 4310 had a confliction issue with my Acer Chromebook 315. Eventually, after ten attempts, I was put through to a member of the HP Support Team, whose Name was Amin. We got so far, but then I was told that Amin had to phone another Department and that he would phone me back later, which he did. Unfortunately, as I was busy at the time, I was unable to take the call, but he helpfully asked me to phone him back once I was free quoting a Case ID Number. This I did, not once, but FIFTEEN TIMES and I was still not put through to this Amin, DESPITE quoting the Case ID Number that I had been asked to quote, as well as giving full details of my name, my email address and my postal address. I can only assume that HP Support must employ completely brainless staff. I will also report this to the Ombudsman so appalling was the (so-called) customer service.

DON'T BUY A HP PRINTER, IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR SANITY!

I'm just leaving this for HP Printers in general. AWFUL, there is some issue I have to resolve every time I want to turn my printer on and print something, this usually takes an hour of my time (By the way it is literally quicker and cheaper to walk to my local library and print there). They seem to want to force you to download their terrible App to use the printer and then they hide any useful tools behind the "Run a Diagnostic" button. As soon as these cartridges run out this printer will promptly be going in a bin where it belongs.

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING HP PRINTER SUPPORT

In 2023, I penned a critical review of HP that I now wish to amend due to my latest experience. I needed to update my router/gateway from Verizon, only to find out that the printer I mentioned in 2023 wasn't compatible. I reached out to HP and purchased an updated version of that printer, which unfortunately arrived damaged and completely non-functional. I contacted HP and had a pleasant conversation with a gentleman who promptly arranged for a replacement to be sent out. In mid-June of this year, my new printer was functioning perfectly - that is, until mid-July when I encountered some issues. Even though my printer, computer, and phone were all connected to the same excellent Verizon Wi-Fi, I encountered "Connectivity Problem" messages displayed on my printer screen. I have called HP Printer Support, which I believe was based in El Salvador, at least a dozen times without exaggeration.This review aims to express how truly exceptional these representatives were - patient, kind, and consistently went above and beyond. They are absolute experts who went the distance in troubleshooting, examining my issue from every angle, yet ultimately came up short and were completely baffled. One gentleman, Rafael, who dedicated a few hours to this, actually reached out to me the next day to continue our conversation. Ultimately, between HP Support and Asurion Support, both equally superb, it was determined that there was some internal defect. Without any fuss or hesitation, the charming young man I spoke with yesterday morning, is dispatching another printer, which I will receive today. This will be my third model, but three's a charm, so I believe this new one will last for a very long time.I want to extend my congratulations to HP for having such an outstanding support team, and I hope they recognize the great fortune of having them on board. Their professionalism helped to soothe my nerves, transforming a frustrating experience into an amazing and lovely result. I can't speak for others, but I commend and applaud these people for a job brilliantly executed.

I had just bought a new HP printer for…

I had just bought a new HP printer for home use and was having problems with it not printing and with the print quality when printing photos. Although I struggled with getting through to talk to a real person, I eventually managed to get through to a very helpful lady who talked me through everything (I am not at all knowledgeable about anything to do with computers/printers). She managed to solve the problem for me, even ringing me back when we got cut off. She was more than helpful and very patient so a big thank you to her - unfortunately I didn't catch her name.

Awful service

Just wow! I won’t be buying hp printers any more, this is the only product that I’ve ever bought that want paying to tell me how to connect to my Wi-Fi as it won’t connect,they want me to pay a subscription on top of me buying there product, big fat no from me, very bad customer service.

Terrible Customer Support Service

I contacted HP support to subscribe to ink service. I spent hours on phone with various agents to connect my printer and opened an account. Only to be told after third attempt (four days later) I couldn’t be connected to Ink Service. I asked to speak with a manager, promises were made but not followed through. My initial request was made on 22nd January, still awaiting manager’s call back. I chased this up with calls on few occasions, Spoke with agents Yassine, Micoh, Rabe, Sham. Yassine said it could take up to two/three weeks for manager’s call back. I was also promised free ink cartridge as good-will gesture, that was two weeks ago, still waiting!

Useless technical support, be aware for HP printer

Very poor and useless support. Msg "A problem has occurred with your HP account and you will be unable to print until the issue is resolved." was prompted unexpectedly. I contacted the support, spent more than 2 hours in WhatsApp to communicate with the support but still could not solve the issue. You need to wait for more than 10 - 20 minutes for every single conversation in WhatsApp for the support to response. It is totally unacceptable. Everyone needs to aware of this.

Useless Support Advisor

Had an issue with a device no longer connecting to my wireless printer. Contacted the support team via WhatsApp which is not an immediate live chat service. But eventually was contacted by someone calling themselves Merihane. She (as I believe it’s a female name) was useless. Kept asking me questions for which I had already provided the answer. And then during some troubleshooting, left out an important step that resulted in my printer losing its network connection. When I queried this at 16:24, she replied “Please bear with me.” It’s now 18:08 and I’ve heard nothing else from her. I can only conclude that’s she’s logged off and I’m now being ignored. In the meantime, I’ve solved the issue myself. It was a VPN matter. If she’s still got a job - as I see she let the last reviewer down too - and she is assigned to your case, ask to speak to someone else.

Terrible Customer Support Service

I had been subscribed to the HP Ink service for several years, but over time, the print quality deteriorated significantly. Despite repeatedly using the printer cleaning tools, the quality did not improve. Consequently, I decided to cancel the subscription. After canceling, I reached out to HP support to seek assistance with the print quality issues.I contacted their WhatsApp support at 8:45 am and navigated through the automated questions. After a five-hour wait, I was finally connected with an agent named Merihane. The agent initially informed me that, because I had canceled my ink subscription, I could no longer use the ink cartridges and would need to purchase them from a store to continue using my printer. I explained that I canceled the subscription due to the poor print quality.Despite the agent's initial comment about the ink subscription, they assured me they would help with the print quality. However, throughout our conversation, I had to endure wait times of 3-10 minutes between responses, which was incredibly frustrating. The agent then instructed me to stay next to my device for 20-30 minutes, but after 15 minutes of waiting, I received no further replies.This experience was extremely frustrating. For those considering using HP support, beware of the potential delays and lack of responsiveness
