I opened a bank account with HSBC, almost a year ago (10 months ago). When I opened the account, I was offered a promotion of a cashback reward, if I transferred my salary to their bank. After all this time, today I received a call explaining that my account was onboarded on their system on a date that the offer was not active and the offer opened again after a couple of weeks again. It is not about the reward itself, but it’s about the approach and the false promises.I can only call this a mockery and customer misleading advertisement.As an advice to everyone, just don’t trust this bank for anything. Their customer service is very bad, their mobile banking is subpar and there are multiple other banks in the UAE, which are much better.Waste of time and money to work with this bank.
