I rented a floor sander and mistakenly thought it was from the company I usually use, but it turned out to be from a different provider. When booking online, it mentioned that unused sanding sheets could be returned, but I was informed otherwise when I picked up the sander. I also ordered four dust bags but only received one, as they claimed they were out of stock. The sander broke on the first day, and when I contacted the rental service, I was told replacements wouldn't be available until Monday or Tuesday. They promised to follow up, but I never heard back. I ended up patching the bag with tape to finish my project. I returned all items on time, even a day early, yet I keep receiving emails about contract extensions and daily charges for the RCD that I returned with the sander. I reached out to them, and they confirmed in writing that the items were returned. I also contacted the original company, but they haven't resolved the issue, and I'm still being billed for the returned item. Overall, the customer service has been very poor, and I'm frustrated with the unauthorized daily charges to my account. I'm considering contacting my bank to see if this is a violation of any regulations.
