We used Hudson back in December/January to assist with a bid. As part of the bid we were required to submit a Carbon Reduction plan which we didn't have. They quoted us for both a 800 character summary (which was compliant for the bid Hudson were working on for us) or a Full PPN 06/21 Compliant Carbon Reduction Plan so that we could use this on future NHS/Government tenders. We opted to go ahead for the Full PPN 06/21. 6 months on we have now come to submit a tender for the NHS only to find out that the carbon reduction plan they produced for us doesn't meet the requirements. I contacted Hudson to try and rectify the issue however my emails were continuously ignored so I'd have to phone to chase for any outcome. Due to time constraints we had to approach another company to produce a compliant Carbon Reduction Plan therefore we just asked to receive our money back for the plan they sold us that didn't meet the requirements. We were repeatedly asked for the NHS’s feedback to say it wasn’t compliant however as I’d explained several times, we didn’t have that feedback as we weren’t prepared to submit a tender with inadequate documentation. It has taken over 2 weeks for them to admit the document doesn’t meet the requirements but keep using the fact that our tender submission was successful as a get out. They are refusing to reimburse us for the Carbon Reduction Plan and offered “not to charge us” for making the amendments to get it to the required standard. We have no confidence in Hudson making the necessary edits, the fact that we’ve had to point out on several occasions what was missing on the plan only cements the fact they have no idea what they are doing. The failure to acknowledge their error, demonstrates a significant lack of professionalism. Dealing with this company has been a significant waste of time and an incredibly inefficient process, I strongly recommend caution to potential customers considering Hudson’s services.
