Good and bad since opening to present.

I shop two or three times a week at the Jacksonville Il. store. Many of the employees out in aisles avoid you, afraid may ask a question. Most of the cashiers are quite nice and helpful. One big heavy guy, mostly where dinners are sold, is extremely noncommital and barely answers - same when he was cashiering one evening, ignores questions and occupied with conversations with other employees. Thin guy probably in fifties working the dinners is usually helpful and acts like he may enjoy his job.Surprised about milk - best buy dates have been as early as the next day or the day of purchase and one was best buy the day before I was buying the milk!Checkout lanes very snug for rider baskets. HyVee water bottles break and leak from pressure to open. Manager seems interested when talk to him.People should be told to plug in carts after use. Too many special parking signs. I use a cane, 88, male - felt strange parked in expectant mothers space - but nobody knows I am not a veteran. Need to have scattered detailed indexes for finding specific items. What the heck does "gallons" have to do with anything? Dinners ok but green bean and corn sides are terrible - dumped from cans to warm water, little seasoning might help - an onion? Could identify dinner items not readily recognizable- what is that or this is often asked. Larry Flynn

Gross

Gross, this Hyvee is definitely not helpful smiles in every isle, it’s almost opposite. Rude employees that seem miserably and probably have been working there for 20 years, so they really are burnt out and miserable, and they project that and maybe should find a new job thats not in customer service. I asked this gentleman if I could get a box to send a package he gave me a flat box, that still needed to be opened and taped, which I can do and I said may I have some tape? He said they did not have any, I could use the scotch tape they have, in the past the girls have always just taped the box for me. I was just a little confused, i said you don’t any shipping tspe he said no. I had to go buy my own tape to construct the box so it was suitable to be shipped, ok that’s fine I guess but you offer scotch tape? Really, just wow. If you say you no longer can do those little helpful things just say so, but to be rude and condescending and seem do incredibly bothered by it, maybe some coaching and management classes for this gentleman might be useful.

Severe never ending discrimination.

For very many years now I have been refused the ability to buy groceries at this corporate grocery store. In the Town where I live I have been subjected to numerous threats by their employees using constant Gun and Shooting at me terminology. One of their employees has tried to physically run me over many times with her SUV in their parking lot and they do nothing. I am treated like a Criminal which I am not. I am discriminated against on an ongoing regular basis by this store. I am followed by local law enforcement when I leave this store after doing nothing wrong but simply leaving the store. If I call management they are very cold to me and do not care. When I enter the store there is about 1 minute before they call out the exact names of 3 of my exes who have tried to take my life (kill me!) and these men have stalked me and hurt me for most of my life in the Town where I pive where no one will help me or stop these men and these highly religious fanatics from hurting me. Because these are the people who all control the Town. They all control who gets to buy food to live and survive. To hear their names over the loud speaker. To be denied the right to purchase items to eat like every regular shopper-when I have valid currency. To be told I have to be "put under the gun"--when I have CANCER. To be refused my delivery grocery order directly after major tumor surgery. The list of what HyVee employees have done to me for 3 decades now.....no one cares. Literally not 1 person. I am ALWAYS ignored and ALWAYS told toHave a GOOD DAYby every single person after I have been HURTTRAUMATIZEDREFUSED HELP

I believe they openly discriminate…

I believe they openly discriminate against sex, race and disability. Everybody keeps talking about this but nobody does anything about it.
