IAMFASHION has organized this Paris event for participants from the program, inviting creative directors from brands like Ba&sh, head of collab or Laredoute and various others insiders of fashion, really helped me to open my eyes on the industry and once again to understand pedagogic process of building a brand from 0, which can be trusted and implemented concretely. Some program alumni were present to share experience and answer FAQs, such a fruitful experience!
Thus far my experience with IAMFASHION has been nothing but positive, and most noteworthy has been the recent workshop event hosted in Paris. The course is well-constructed, highly relevant and innovative, and I could not recommend it highly enough.
I found the experience of the in-person event to be extraordinary. Not only was it a pleasure to meet our virtual coaches in person, to learn from them directly, but to be in community with like-minded designer-entrepreneurs. The organization was very well done, I felt there was a good rhythm to the event with a lot of inspiration. I liked the combination of hands on experience with talks and interviews, and some social time. I was fascinated by the interviews – especially on day 3. Besides that, highlights were the moodboard, the trends overview, and the mindset with Inga. I would have liked to have had more time in the peer roundtable, as I found we were helping one another solve problems and exchange ideas. The structure of having questions to answer in a group was helpful and guided us to be productive in that format.A guide to the names and faces with the brands would have been useful as well, or else nametags (I know kind of tacky). I would have been curious to see each person's products as well, a sampling of what they offer, and share mine. After all, we can support one another in sales as well!Overall, I left with tons of inspiration, actions and a new mindset – that of a CEO. I feel there was definitely a before and after for me, in just three short days.Thank you to all for being so present and available!
