The Death Doula Course was excellent, comprehensive in preparing one to offer end-of-life care. The course is gentle and thorough in review and information on the values and skills essential to being a good death doula. In addition to the skills training, the course offered comprehensive information and training for setting up and marketing a new business which would be applicable to beginning a new business in any field.The carefulness in covering the care and kindness of a death doula’s role and becoming successful as a provider was detailed and gave an abundance of information and resources for ongoing follow-up. It was encouraging from beginning to end and with someone available to talk to in person with your questions all day (maybe even 24/7!) as well as a faculty advisor for up to 3 hours.
