I thought I was too old to earn a Certificate in Cybersecurity. However, with the help of IAP, it wasn't complicated. The study materials provided were easy to read and comprehend, the exam was straightforward, and I was pleasantly surprised to see the abundance of resources available for continued learning to increase my knowledge further. I feel a great sense of accomplishment to have obtained this certificate.
The online process of signing up for the course, locating all of the information, downloading the information was seamless and easy to do. The flexibility of the course being online, self paced and having chapter reviews at the end of each section was very helpful for preparing for the final exam. I was also beneficial to have each chapter outline the topics that would be cover in the upoming section. It sounds like simple soluiton, but it sets your mind to the correct pace of the material you are preparing to read. I was also impressed with the amount of valuable links that the Life Coach course gives as resources for students to keep and use after completion. It is a very well thoughtout program, which has inspired me to sign up for the Career Coach Course. This is a more intensive course that I look forward to tackling. I believe both courses an being an Association member will lead me to many new business opportunities.
This course is straightforward and easy to follow. You can go at your own pace and finish earlier or later than the 6 week timeline. The information in the textbook is valuable, and I learned so much that will inform my future business. The chapter quiz questions closely lined up with the final exam questions so I felt prepared and passed on my first attempt.
You have to go in with a positive mind and have a vision!! These classes can get done on your own time which means finding motivation to complete the course week by week. They aren’t hard it’s just a lot of reading and taking notes. I’m currently pregnant and have a one year old so these classes aren’t impossible. Definitely worth the price and you gain a lot of knowledge for the price. I will definitely continue getting more certifications from IAP Career Collage!
