December 2021 I took my Google Pixel 4a 5g into iCrack's Southampton branch for a screen repair, was promised that the parts would be official and from Google themselves and was charged £180 for the repair, which at this point was simply for the glass itself not the workings behind it. This has turned out to not be the case, as I recently dropped the phone and it became entirely unresponsive, so not convinced by my last experience with iCrack I went instead to the repair provider recommended by Google themselves and was charged half the price for a full screen replacement (glass and back-workings) but was also informed that "somebody" (iCrack) had previously repaired it with a cut-down piece of generic screen-glass, glued it with off-brand liquid glue instead of the proper product and managed to do it so tightly that it had caused the whole screen to break when it hit the wrong point. All of that, and they'd actually had the nerve to charge me for the "service" provided. Do not use these people if you value your device, wallet or sense of self-respect.I'll be speaking with my local trading standards to establish if there is anything which they can do, and if you have had the misfortune of dealing with iCrack and suffered a similar experience then I suggest that you do the same.
