Since moving into my current residence, I have been dealing with a pre-existing leak, persistent dampness, and mould, along with a wet bathroom and entryway. The bathroom lacks a functional light, the unit has a musty odor, and the walls and ceilings are clearly deteriorating. Despite numerous maintenance requests and emails, no significant repairs have been made. Five months ago, the bathroom sink collapsed due to moisture damage and remains unfixed. I injured my hand on the broken sink, and I am left with no choice but to brush my teeth in the bathtub, which is both undignified and unacceptable. When I asked for relocation due to the company breaching the contract, I was informed that I would need to pay another deposit while still being required to pay full rent in these unsafe conditions. This lack of accountability and care for tenants is simply unacceptable, and I have already stated that I plan to escalate this issue to the appropriate housing authorities.
