Last Friday, I attempted to renew a gift subscription for a magazine but encountered issues on the website that directed me to create a new account. Calling the subscription number led to a call center that was polite but ineffective. I was placed on hold numerous times, provided all my details, including card information, and then left on hold indefinitely. I called back only to find another agent who had my details but said she was leaving for the weekend, ending both calls. There’s no email contact, and since then, I've received no updates. The service has been terrible, and I dread another long call. I’ve contacted my bank about the charges.
