My routing was Heathrow to Mumbai to Phuket. I booked Indigo for Mumbai - Phuket. I tried to check in 24 hours before departure. Not possible as my credit card need to be verified. Mumbai airport at night is a hell hole. I tried to avoid this by changing flights without going through immigration. I checked with Indigo that this was possible and was assured that it was. On arrval at Mumbai the staff at the transit desk refused to check me in and directed me to the landside checkin. On my return leg again, I couldn't check in online. Not sure why. At no point was I asked for my credit card for verification. The only positive thing I can say about this company is that the crew onboard were extremely pleasant.
