Unfortunately, their system isn't actually providing binaural beats. What's supposed to happen is that a different frequency should be played in each ear and the difference in the frequencies create a new "phantom tone/beat inside your brain. It's through the brain creating that beat that it's influenced by the sounds. This app plays the exact same sounds through both earbuds simultaneously and the "beat" is pre-generated in the audio. So, not binaural beats...Now, maybe it's handy for people as a kind of meditation app, but it's definitely not doing what it's claiming to do...I've tried to post a link to an explanation of binaural beats but apparently that's not allowed.
