Recently, I joined a more competitive and active guild to take on new challenges, expecting a higher level of coordination and fun. What I encountered instead was deeply disappointing.The level of abusive behavior among players—ranging from hostile banter to personal attacks—is unacceptable. This isn't just light trash talk; it often crosses the line into toxic and harmful communication. What’s worse is that this behavior seems to be unchecked, creating an environment that is definitely not suitable for children or anyone seeking a positive community.Even more concerning is the rampant use of bots and automation at this level of gameplay. It’s obvious that many players are using unauthorized tools to gain an advantage, and the lack of enforcement from InnoGames raises serious questions. Fair play is the foundation of any competitive game, and when cheating becomes normalized, the entire experience is diminished.I’m now seriously rethinking my participation in Forge of Empires. After years of dedication, it’s discouraging to see the game move in a direction that prioritizes high-volume activity over integrity and community standards. Until these issues are addressed—particularly around moderation and anti-cheating enforcement—I cannot recommend the game to new players or families.
