Shocking experience. If this is the kind of courier InPost hires and allows to represent the company, people should seriously think twice before using this service.

Yesterday, 4 parcels were delivered to my elderly parents in Poland. We ordered probiotics from London to their Polish address. My parents were waiting for some kind of notice or estimated delivery time, but nothing useful was provided. They live on the 3rd floor and were specifically waiting for these parcels.

A polite note was added to every parcel asking for the packages to be handed directly to my parents, because they are elderly and would struggle to carry them upstairs. Each parcel came from a different online pharmacy, and the same request was included every time.

My parents briefly went to a nearby shop only 5–10 minutes away. The courier did not call in advance to say he was on the way. He only called once he was already outside with the parcels. My father politely asked him to wait 5 minutes so he could return quickly, and asked if he could help bring them upstairs.

The courier’s response was disgraceful. He said he did not care and even stated that if the parcels had been cash on delivery, he would have waited, but since they were already paid for, it was “not his problem.” He then left all parcels downstairs and drove away.

This was not just poor service. It was rude, arrogant and completely disrespectful towards elderly people. No professionalism, no decency, no basic humanity. A company is judged by the people it sends to customers’ doors, and in this case InPost sent someone rude, lazy and utterly unfit for the job.

If InPost is comfortable employing couriers who behave like this, that tells customers everything they need to know.

Avoid this company if you expect respect, professionalism, or even basic courtesy.
“InPost should be ashamed of employing couriers with this kind of attitude.”
