Such a neat idea. I love this company. Good communication with text message and email updates. A good few days to collect your item. Easy to use system. Locations are easy to drive to without having to pay to park.
Mainly use InPost or Royal Mail for sending and receiving items especially via Vinted it takes just a few days either way and their lockers are everywhere so easy to find some close to where you are 👏
Generally have a good experience with inpost, I do use quite a lot for vinted, returning parcels etc, however the couple of times I have had a problem, such as locker doors not opening, they are pretty useless at solving any problems, and it once took a week to repair a locker which meant that I had missed the window to collect 2 parcels. This review is based on my own personal experience with inpost
The lockers are very conveniently located for me to collect on my way home from work. But I am short (5'2") and this time I struggled to get my package out of the top level locker!
Another lost parcel with Inpost! There was not enough space in the lockers, then it was faulty, then there was an ‘address issue’, the parcel has supposedly been out for delivery 12 times in the last 3 weeks, and still Inpost haven’t managed to drop it at their locker. I’ve contacted customer service and been repeatedly ignored (even when the tracking told me to contact them) and now they are saying it isn’t their problem, my ‘contract is with Vinted’. I can’t raise the issue with Vinted however as the parcel is still showing as out for delivery, and therefore not missing.
When it works it’s great , but this is now my 5th parcel in a year which has either been stuck in a delivery loop, or just disappeared. At least with Royal Mail there is an option to pick up from your local office, if Inpost lockers are full, then too bad, it’s going into the endless delivery loop. Customer service couldn’t give two hoots. I definitely won’t be sending anything with them ever again.
Shocking experience. If this is the kind of courier InPost hires and allows to represent the company, people should seriously think twice before using this service.
Yesterday, 4 parcels were delivered to my elderly parents in Poland. We ordered probiotics from London to their Polish address. My parents were waiting for some kind of notice or estimated delivery time, but nothing useful was provided. They live on the 3rd floor and were specifically waiting for these parcels.
A polite note was added to every parcel asking for the packages to be handed directly to my parents, because they are elderly and would struggle to carry them upstairs. Each parcel came from a different online pharmacy, and the same request was included every time.
My parents briefly went to a nearby shop only 5–10 minutes away. The courier did not call in advance to say he was on the way. He only called once he was already outside with the parcels. My father politely asked him to wait 5 minutes so he could return quickly, and asked if he could help bring them upstairs.
The courier’s response was disgraceful. He said he did not care and even stated that if the parcels had been cash on delivery, he would have waited, but since they were already paid for, it was “not his problem.” He then left all parcels downstairs and drove away.
This was not just poor service. It was rude, arrogant and completely disrespectful towards elderly people. No professionalism, no decency, no basic humanity. A company is judged by the people it sends to customers’ doors, and in this case InPost sent someone rude, lazy and utterly unfit for the job.
If InPost is comfortable employing couriers who behave like this, that tells customers everything they need to know.
Avoid this company if you expect respect, professionalism, or even basic courtesy.
“InPost should be ashamed of employing couriers with this kind of attitude.”
Great delivery service only give 4* as my first experience with them I ordered 11 things from vinted and they lost them all but after ringing them up it was because the lockers were broke but it took weeks for them to fix it so ended up getting 9 of my parcels in all different places which was a pain but other 2 went back to seller who reposted them since that no probs
InPost is always great. The lockers are easy to use and it just makes the whole pick and drop off process so easy. The app is great as well as the tracking is always up to date.
Was very confusing today... had to call up to be able to retrieve my parcel. It looked on the app as if it had been sent back.
First time I had a bad experience.
3 lockers were wide open when I got there too.
A great reliable service that you can trust with your parcels. Whether it’s an uplift to send or to receive. Also great communication always up to date with the journey of the parcel which is very reassuring and much appreciated.
