I placed an order and was given a delivery time. However, the delivery time was changed later, by over an hour (which I did not approve). I realized the change only after checking the app for its arrival. I tried to cancel and it said I would have to pay a $15 cancel fee. So I was screwed and the delivery which was a cake for someone's birthday now was arriving after the event. That is ridiculous service! I do not blame the instacart delivery person, they delivered at the time stated.
However, if instacart is allowed to change the delivery time they should either, have to contact the customer for approval or allow the customer to cancel without penalty. I do not recommend using instacart.
