Clarification on my location, it is not Japan but in the US and in fact Northern Virginia, I use VPN.Gone are the days of contractors caring about their customers, this is true at least for this company. I currently have a crew of 2 in remodeling our bathrooms, at quitting time they spend just enough time cleaning their tools and nothing else. Hallway is covered in dust and drywall mud smeared along the floor. The front yard were they were cutting tile, they left the little pieces all in the grass. But my favorite is still the pile of trash they left as a result of unfinished demo. I had to find out that something as simple as cleaning up after yourself is not heard of with this company!Now for the good news, the work they are doing is pretty good, not great but good. Floor and Decor told us we needed 5 gallons of tile sealer to be used for 2 bathrooms. The first bathroom, the lead on the job tried to get away with using maybe 1/2 a gallon. I was able to convince his assistant to re-coat at which point a full gallon was used and this time truly sealed like it should have been. A few little things but this is only one bathroom down and one to go.My advice, is if you are going to use these people for anything have some knowledge of construction. If not they will try and walk over you.
