I received a verbal quote after clearly stating my request for the entire loft to be boarded. The surveyor acknowledged this, knowing I couldn't access the loft to verify his measurements. Despite this, they only completed part of the boarding and suggested I should have checked the measurements, claiming I got what I paid for. It was supposed to take two men six hours, but they finished in about three. Additionally, the entire job was meant to be completed in that time frame, yet the electrical work was canceled the day before, and they said they would return the following Monday, but no one showed up. I’m still disputing the situation. I regret trusting the surveyor’s word; as an older person, I realize companies may take advantage, knowing I can't easily verify these matters.
