Very disappointing experience.
I signed up for Instantly to run cold outreach and spent weeks setting up the entire infrastructure, including domains, email accounts, DNS authentication, and warm-up. During this process I experienced constant issues such as undelivered emails, empty sent folders, account suspensions, and confusing DNS-related errors.
Only after all of this time and effort did support finally admit that certain email providers (such as Hostinger) are “not suitable” for cold outreach and warm-up activity. This is apparently a well-known limitation.
My question is simple: why is this not clearly disclosed during onboarding or before users start building their setup around the platform?
Instead of acknowledging the problem or offering a meaningful resolution, support attempted to redirect the conversation toward additional paid services (DFY setup and pre-warmed inboxes). After investing time and money based on the expectation that the platform would work with common email providers, being offered another upsell as a “solution” was extremely frustrating.
A platform built around cold outreach should clearly warn users about provider incompatibilities before users invest time, purchase domains, and configure email accounts. Failing to disclose these limitations upfront wastes customers’ time, resources, and money.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this platform. The lack of transparency around known limitations and the attempt to upsell additional services instead of addressing the core issue is extremely unprofessional. Users considering this platform should be aware that critical setup limitations may only become clear after significant time and resources have already been spent.
