I purchased an IP Duo Plus to replace a defunct slow cooker. When it arrived I followed the test-run instructions and the following day used the sauté function prior to setting the slow-cooker function. I contacted Customer Support via the website with a function enquiry, and by return received an extremely helpful reply from Bea who took her time to take me through my query step-by-step. No AI reply here - Bea is a genuine, real person who cares about her customers. Issue resolved, my slow-cooked beef casserole was cooked to perfection. My initial cause for concern was completely unfounded (a bit like test-driving a new car that takes a while to get used to) and I'll enjoy working through all the other functions this amazing pot has to offer. It's well made with a quality stainless steel pot and clear display. My only criticism is re: instructions. These can be accessed by a Q-code - which is no good to anyone not having a smart phone (me!). I accessed the manual from the website and have printed it for future reference. Recipes are readily available on the website. All in all exceptional customer service from Instant Pot UK.
