Great reviews and an amazing price is what made me decide to take the plunge and order. The hearing aids took approximately two weeks to arrive and after charging them up and reading the instructions, I was ready to go. They were VERY loud initially so i had to turn them down as the feedback was a little disconcerting. Generally they work very well, however it has taken a while to get used to hearing myself eat more loudly, including chewing and also there is a constant background 'hiss' when I'm indoors. A bit like hearing rain on a conservatory roof. I do suffer badly from tinnitus so don't know if this is the reason or not.. I forgot to say, when the postie arrived and our cockapoo barked at him, I just about fell of my chair, it so loud!
