when I do i-ready and get a question wrong, it tells me the correct answer, which gives me shame. instead of the program saying "let me help you. you can do it.", it is more like saying "behold your failure. you have made a grave mistake." if i-ready deletes the answer correctness which feels like a punishment, the program would be better.
I'm a student and I use iready, since KINDERGARTEN. it's horrible. It's not fun. It genuinely makes me pull my hair with full force bro. It's so annoying. If you make one mistake on reading, it pulls out its little clues thing and rambles for like 3 minutes straight. The diagnostic is just hours of boringness. It hasn't happened for me yet, but apparently they swapped the diagnostic games with BREATHING? for one, everyone HATES your app besides old teachers. And two, it's literal TORTURE.
genuinely just complete BOOTY. the entire point is to learn yet when you try it sometimes doesn't even count the work. and failing the quiz when only getting 2 questions wrong is outragous
By far one of the worst websites ever. I am a great student, but my required i-ready minutes leave me with no energy to complete my school work. The lessons are mentally draining and to long to be meaningful. I feel like I don't learn anything during and after completing them.

I find this application very frustrating. First off, the lessons drag on longer than necessary, and it doesn't help that you can't mute the voice that reads excessively slowly. The diagnostic is far too lengthy, and my teacher requires us to complete three per day, or we miss recess. Now I'm stuck with multiple long lessons.
This is perhaps the least effective learning support tool available. It offers little to no assistance with learning and feels more like a burdensome task for students rather than a helpful resource. Additionally, it consumes a significant amount of space on devices, slowing them down considerably while it runs. I would never use it again and believe it should be banned from educational services.
The lessons seem like pointless busy work. The diagnostic is already challenging and lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, but the lessons themselves feel utterly meaningless and do not contribute to learning at all. Previous platforms had at least some educational value, but this one does not.
I am in seventh grade, and my school has used this tool since I was in first grade. I don't understand why schools continue to use it; it is a terrible platform that has no positive impact on our grades, and even teachers dislike it. Just avoid it.
