I purchased a jet black, 20” classic clip-in set for around $200, which is a significant amount for me as I am disabled and work from home. Upon opening the package, I noticed that despite the claim of being 100% human hair, the extensions felt more like straw than hair. I decided to wash them, thinking perhaps there was a protective coating, using an expensive sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, and then dried them on a low setting. When I attempted to install them, they felt unusually heavy, something I've never experienced with other human hair clip-ins. The ends would not curl at all, and keeping them untangled was a frustrating challenge. It's incredibly disheartening to read positive reviews while having such a negative experience and losing $200 in the process. I just wanted to feel beautiful again after cutting my hair short, and now I'm left feeling disappointed and upset.
